2008
Erode, IndiaPriya Songappan, with a passion for design and not much else, started Designpluz in 2008, in a small town called Erode in southern India. What she built spread the way good work always does: by word of mouth. Clients liked the outcomes, they liked how they were treated and they told other people.
2012
Sydney, AustraliaPriya moved to Sydney after marrying Jag Kandasamy. She decided to bring the business to Australia and build it again, this time in a market that knew nothing about her yet. Design stayed at the heart of everything, even as the business grew around it. We began designing and developing websites, then supporting them with digital marketing
2020
Design → software → AIJag Kandasamy came on board as Director of Software and once again we pushed into the custom software, mobile apps, and AI space; all with the same design first ethos that started it all back in Erode.
Today
Sydney · Melbourne · BrisbaneEighteen years on, the team has grown, the services have strengthened, and the offices have spread across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. But the thing that hasn't changed is the value Priya started with back in Erode: the customer is king. It's the reason people stayed, told others, and came back and it's still the reason today.
